I Am Loved


My parents said "she left because she loved you"

My husband said" I love you but I must leave you"

Is it any wonder I flinch

When I am loved?

I am speechless when confronted with the profound. I do not know how to praise.

The pity is that I am an excellent literary critic. But critics are cursed with the gift of destruction. What do I say when I want to build?
